Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the guest in the next episode of Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath’s podcast. Putting to rest all the speculations about the ‘mysterious’ guest the teaser hinted about, the trailer, that dropped on Thursday evening, showed Modi speaking to Kamath candidly about leadership, his tenure, global affairs, and politics.
Titled ‘People with the Prime Minister’, the podcast features Kamath engaging in a rare conversation with Modi. “This is the first time I’m participating in a podcast,” the Prime Minister admitted.
In a brief clip, Modi can be seen addressing global tensions and India’s stance on the ongoing war, saying, “During this crisis, we have repeatedly stated that we are not neutral. I say it again and again—I am on the side of peace.”

During the chat, PM Modi also reflected on a speech he gave during his tenure as Chief Minister, “Mistakes are inevitable. I too must have made mistakes. I am a human being, not a god.”

Kamath, who also hosts the ‘WTF is’ and ‘People By WTF’ podcasts, asked Modi how his second term differed from his first. Modi replied thoughtfully, “In the first term, people were trying to understand me, and I was also trying to understand Delhi.”
Sharing his vision for the podcast, Kamath drew parallels between entrepreneurship and politics, an intriguing perspective rarely discussed.
In this candid conversation, Modi shared his advice for aspiring politicians, “People should come with a mission, not ambition,” he said, adding, “Good people should continue coming into politics.”
